THE 2015 METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA
Tommy’s guests included Karolina Kurkova, Archie Drury, Behati Prinsloo, Shu Pei Qin, Richard Madden, and Rodrigo Santoro, all wearing Tommy Hilfiger.
WHAT: Tommy and Dee Hilfiger attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2015 Costume Institute Gala on May 4, 2015 in New York City to celebrate the opening of “China: Through the Looking Glass,” an exhibit that explores the impact of Chinese aesthetics on Western fashion. Silas Chou served as Chair of the Gala with co-chairs Jennifer Lawrence, Gong Li, Marissa Mayer, Wendi Murdoch, and Anna Wintour.
Guests seated at Tommy Hilfiger’s table included supermodel Karolina Kurkova with her husband Archie Drury, Tommy Hilfiger brand ambassador Behati Prinsloo, Chinese supermodel Shu Pei Qin, Cinderella star Richard Madden, and Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro, all wearing Tommy Hilfiger.
“Chinese culture has had a dynamic influence on the world of fashion and I’m constantly inspired by Eastern artistry and craftsmanship,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Dee and I are thrilled to be able to celebrate this wonderful exhibit at this year’s Met Gala with such a great group of friends and industry icons.”

Dee Hilfiger wore a custom designed cobalt blue sleeveless caped satin gown with dragon and cherry blossom motifs embroidered in tones of silver with sequins, beads, and thread from Hilfiger Collection. Mrs. Hilfiger is also carrying a silver leather Editors Clutch with blue jewels of her own design.
Karolina Kurkova wore a custom designed red bell sleeve silk tunic with a voluminous flared short skirt and gold jacquard details from Hilfiger Collection.
Archie Drury wore a custom designed navy single-breasted notch lapel tuxedo, white French cuff tuxedo shirt, white silk tie, and black patent leather lace-up dress shoes, all from the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection.
Behati Prinsloo wore a custom designed midnight sleeveless velvet gown with a plunging back and black paneled georgette silk inserts from Hilfiger Collection.
Shu Pei Qin wore a custom designed burgundy long sleeve velvet gown with gold beaded floral embroidery and a full China red skirt in light georgette silk from Hilfiger Collection.
Richard Madden wore a custom designed navy single-breasted peak lapel tuxedo, white French cuff tuxedo shirt, white silk bow tie, and black patent leather lace-up dress shoes, all from the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection.
Rodrigo Santoro wore a custom designed black shawl collar single-breasted tuxedo, white French cuff tuxedo shirt, white silk bow tie, and black patent leather lace-up dress shoes, all from the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection.

Richard Madden
British actor Richard Madden is best known for his role as ‘Robb Stark’ in the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones. Rodrigo Santoro
Rodrigo Santoro was already an award-winning actor in Brazil when he gained fame in the United States and around the globe. In 2014 he starred in 300: Rise of an Empire, reprising his role from the 2007 worldwide hit 300, directed by Zack Snyder.
