CITY WALK Upped the Style Stakes this Weekend at ‘A Stylish Affair’
- Hosts Three Days of Flash Mob Style Shows in Collaboration with Crea, JNBY, Michelle Belau and Zmilelee
- Caboodle Arts and Crafts Event Creates a Fun-Filled Weekend for the Kids
Dubai-UAE: 15 November, 2014 – CITY WALK, Dubai’s go-to outdoor leisure concept by Meraas Holding, upped the style stakes and made the most of the cool weather this weekend with ‘A Stylish Affair’.
Style aficionados and shoppers stepped up their celebrity-quotient with funky photo frame ‘photo ops’ along the promenade and a giant paparazzi wall at the outdoor concept’s entrance. Visitors also got to jam to the live beats of funky DJ ‘Just Tareq’.
A Stylish Affair included a series of flash mob style shows with each session offering a unique style statement in conjunction with retailers Crea, JNBY, Michelle Belau, Jessica and Zmilelee. Emirati Entrepreneur Mohammed Al Habtoor hosted the event’s curtain raiser on 13 November, while Tala Samman, founder of myfashdiary.com, presented the second show on Friday, 14 November.
A Stylish Affair closed on an upbeat note with a segment presented by Buffi Jashanmal, Dubai’s very own home grown fashion designer from TV’s ‘Project Runway’. Known for her fun and quirky style sense, Buffi has styled the who’s who of tinsel town such as Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez, among others.
Caboodle, Pamper & Play also conducted an arts and crafts event at the venue for young visitors to explore their creative interests throughout the weekend.
